Job summary

DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations is seeking a Director of Talent to lead integrated talent plans, workforce strategy, and compensation decisions. You will partner with executives to translate business goals into actionable talent investments, develop scenarios, and build leadership pipelines.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision support, cross-functional collaboration, and the use of BI tools to inform strategic workforce actions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, finance, or related field.
• Five+ years of progressive HR, workforce planning, compensation, or related experience.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience partnering with leaders to address workforce, organizational, or financial challenges.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with planning/reporting systems.
• Ability to translate data into practical business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to understand strategies, growth priorities, and capability needs.
• Translate business plans into workforce and talent strategies identifying future needs and investments.
• Develop workforce scenarios and talent pipelines for critical positions.
• Design workforce, team, and organizational solutions to support objectives.
• Develop succession strategies and leadership pipelines for key roles.
• Provide leaders with actionable insights supporting workforce and compensation decisions.
• Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and analytical models to inform decisions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance in analytics.
