Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort in the San Diego area seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist to source and recruit for open positions by engaging applicants, conducting pre-interviews, and coordinating advertising and outreach. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure top candidates are identified.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 2+ years of high-volume recruiting (hotel or resort a plus), and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of high-volume recruiting; hotel or resort experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Experience with HCM/ATS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relationships with hiring managers to build partnerships.
• Communicates with applicants by phone/email about opportunities, status, benefits, and offers.
• Source and recruit candidates using diverse resources.
• Reviews applications and evaluates for skills and experience.
• Prescreens, interviews, references, and matches to job requirements.
• Schedules interviews between candidates and managers.
• Coordinates onboarding with Talent Acquisition Administrator.
• Tracks resumes and maintains applicant relationships.
• Plans recruitment activities with managers.
• Stays updated on employment laws.
• Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive situations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
