Job summary

Avadian Credit Union is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support day-to-day recruiting and shape our talent strategy. You will own candidate sourcing, outreach, and pipeline management while collaborating with HR and hiring managers.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in talent acquisition, a bachelor's in HR or related field, and the ability to travel within Alabama as needed. Avadian offers an entrepreneurial environment and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable making decisions independently and building trust.
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems.
• Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovative search techniques and proactive outreach to generate a diverse pool of candidates necessary to fill open positions.
• Interact with potential candidates through professional and social networks.
• Build talent and track candidate pipelines within Avadian's HRIS recruitment system.
• Collaborate with the Vice President of Human Resources to work with marketing/branding and hiring managers on recruiting strategies.
• Develop, execute, and monitor candidate search campaigns using a variety of internet search engines.
• Promote the Avadian brand online and offline through candidate interaction and events.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to online sourcing, staffing, and hiring practices.
• Develop, track, and analyze sourcing/attraction programs to optimize investments and efforts.
• Provide an exceptional candidate experience, and be an Avadian brand ambassador to candidates.
• Prompt and regular attendance is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
