Job summary

InterWest Insurance Services seeks an experienced Talent Acquisition Business Partner to act as a strategic recruiting partner to leadership. You will build talent pipelines, especially for Brokers, Account Managers, and Account Executives, across Commercial Insurance, Surety, Employee Benefits and Personal Insurance.

You will anticipate needs, maintain industry networks, and own full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer acceptance while aligning with business strategy and market trends.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 4 years in insurance brokerage.
• Proven success sourcing and placing Brokers, Account Managers, Account Executives, and client-facing roles.
• Strong existing network within the insurance industry.
• Ability to build trusted advisor relationships with business leaders.
• Data-driven with the ability to measure outcomes and forecast needs.
• Self-directed with strong organizational skills; comfortable with evolving tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep, trusted relationships with leadership and anticipate hires.
• Understand business strategy, growth trajectory, and success metrics by department.
• Analyze historical hiring patterns, turnover data, and market trends to plan ahead.
• Translate objectives into talent acquisition strategies delivering measurable results.
• Build pipelines for Brokers, Account Managers, Account Executives across lines.
• Maintain networks through associations, events, LinkedIn, and sourcing.
• Own full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer acceptance.
• Manage compensation negotiations with leadership based on market data.
