Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Talent Acquisition Advisor to support large-scale construction projects in Lenexa, KS. This role partners with project leadership to drive workforce planning and full-cycle recruiting across construction and project support functions.

You will build strong relationships with operations leaders, manage talent pipelines, and apply innovative sourcing strategies including LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, and industry outreach to fill strategic roles on megaprojects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Communications, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Experience supporting construction, engineering, industrial, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or EPC-related hiring.
• Proven success sourcing passive candidates and filling difficult-to-fill positions.
• Strong relationship management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project leadership to develop and execute workforce staffing plans.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer development, and onboarding support.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Utilize innovative sourcing strategies including LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, military programs, and industry outreach.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by providing talent market insights and recruiting best practices.
• Coordinate interviews, hiring events, and candidate site visits.
• Track recruiting metrics and provide staffing updates to project and HR leadership.
• Ensure compliance with recruiting policies, procedures, and employment regulations.
