Job summary

AM General in Mishawaka, IN, seeks a skilled Recruiter to lead recruiting plans for open positions, manage manager communications, and drive diverse hiring initiatives. You will partner with HR teams to source candidates, prescreen, and coordinate interviews while building a strong talent pipeline across a manufacturing environment.

You will also help with onboarding, reporting, and event outreach, ensuring timely hires and alignment with business needs.

Qualifications

Associate degree in HR or business preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
Total recruiting/coordinating/onboarding: minimum 4 years experience.
2–4 years recruiting for management/professional roles in corporate setting.
Experience with UltiPro, Kronos, or UKG Recruiting modules preferred.
Experience with social media and social networks.
Knowledge of exceptional customer service principles and satisfaction evaluation.
Ability to handle confidential information under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Lead creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.
Maintain regular, prompt communication with hiring managers about open roles and backfills.
Educate hiring managers on reach-out and referrals; aid teams in identifying culture fit.
Develop workforce planning insights to help leaders make talent decisions.
Fill positions efficiently respecting time-to-fill KPIs and DEI initiatives.
Create recruiting reports including AAP reporting and candidate evaluation summaries.
