Job summary

Validation & Engineering Group, Inc. (V&EG) seeks a talented engineer to lead cross-system migration and validation tasks in a regulated environment.

You will coordinate with IT, QA, Engineering, and Validation to ensure data integrity across DMS, LIMS, MES, ERP, and related platforms. The role emphasizes hands-on deployment, documentation, and training for end users, with occasional extended hours to support critical migration windows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years as a system power user, integrator, or tech lead in regulated industries.
• Experience with multiple platforms/tools and data harmonization across systems.
• Knowledge of document/system structures, metadata, and versioning.
• Excellent English and Spanish communication; able to document technically.
• Detail-oriented with audit-ready records.
• Willingness to work occasional extra hours for migration windows.

Responsibilities

• Support handoff between engineering and QA and manage system lifecycle concepts.
• Migrate documentation and data between DMS, QMS, LIMS, MES, ERP, and other systems.
• Design and execute migration validation plans with mapping and verification checks.
• Troubleshoot data-mapping issues and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare or review technical drawings and system architecture diagrams.
• Create and deliver end-user training on migration procedures and post-migration verification.
