Job summary

MSCI Inc. in San Francisco is expanding its Sustainability & Climate Client Specialist team. You will manage a portfolio of institutional clients, delivering expert guidance on MSCI's Sustainability & Climate solutions to support their investment processes.

In this role you will develop deep product knowledge, drive renewals and growth through proactive service, and collaborate with Sales and Product to address client needs. Travel across the US West Coast will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in a client-facing role within financial services or sustainability.
• Experience in account renewal, retention, and upsell strategies.
• Willingness to travel across the US West Coast.

Responsibilities

• Serve as domain expert on Sustainability products and client objectives.
• Manage inquiries and issue resolution using Salesforce, Gainsight, and internal tools with Client Service.
• Monitor client satisfaction and lead renewal/retention across segments.
• Drive revenue growth through service and proactive engagement.
• Develop and drive account management plans and conduct health checks.
• Identify upsell opportunities and communicate with Sales.
• Collaborate with Product and Research & Development on client initiatives.
• Travel to client sites across the US West Coast.
