Job summary

U.S. Venture is seeking a Senior Supply Planner to lead supply continuity, optimize inventory, and improve supplier performance across global networks. You will mentor junior planners and partner with Demand Planning, Logistics, and Category Management using tools like Logility, Microsoft Dynamics D365, and Power BI.

The role emphasizes risk mitigation, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement in the supply chain. Strong analytics and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, business, or related field.
• Proven 5+ years in supply planning, purchasing, or procurement.
• Strong analytical, organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics D365 and MS Office.
• Experience in supplier collaboration and performance management.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct purchasing reviews to align supply with forecasted demand and inventory targets.
• Release replenishment purchase orders per demand plans and safety stock levels.
• Maintain open purchase orders; update delivery dates and quantities as needed.
• Respond to alerts to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
• Build and manage import loads to optimize container utilization and reduce freight costs.
• Coordinate with Logistics and Inbound Scheduling for efficient goods receipt and flow.
• Monitor supplier scorecards; track on-time delivery, fill rate, and responsiveness.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and implement corrective actions.
• Identify supply constraints and escalate with vendors to resolve issues.
