Job summary

MANN+HUMMEL in Gastonia, NC is seeking a Supply Planner/Material Planner to optimize our supply chain, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand. You will drive SIOP alignment, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with sales, production, and logistics to develop accurate demand forecasts and production schedules.

A bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of planning experience are required; SAP MM/PP/WM and advanced Excel skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of proven experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or related roles within a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material plans based on demand forecasts and coordinate with internal and external suppliers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and analyze trends.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize turnover to reduce stockouts.
• Develop production schedules aligning with demand and inventory targets.
• Maintain supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and performance.
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure on-time delivery and cost optimization.
• Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive process improvements and use SCM tools for data-driven decisions.
• Generate reports and provide actionable recommendations.
