Job summary

MANN+HUMMEL is seeking an experienced logistics and production planning leader in Texas. You will drive location logistics, materials, purchasing and production planning initiatives and ensure safety and efficiency across logistics operations, using Lean methods to reduce waste and improve performance.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
Minimum 5 years in manufacturing, distribution and logistics management.

Responsibilities

Leads location logistics, materials, purchasing and production planning initiatives.
Ensures safety specifications in logistics areas using PIT and manual handling equipment.
Oversees Logistics/TMS support and carrier-related concerns.
Drives material handling improvements and continuous improvement via Lean methods.
Monitors KPIs such as inventory turns and on-time fill rate.
Manages hiring and development of staff in material planning and warehousing.
