Job summary

Sonoco, a global leader in packaging, is seeking a Material Replenishment Planner to ensure timely availability of materials for multiple plants in Charlotte, NC. You will balance inventory, lead times, and supplier performance while collaborating with Sales and Operations Planning to optimize costs and service levels.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 2+ years of experience, and familiarity with APICS certifications.

Qualifications

• Very high level of attention to detail and ability to quickly identify and resolve material planning data issues.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with stakeholders across Supply Chain Planning and Execution teams.
• Pursuit of or possession of relevant Supply Chain certifications (APICS CPIM/CSCP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Material Replenishment Planning for assigned plants.
• Coordinate capital project planning to align multiple departments for startup.
• Coordinate communication with key customers and forecast across plants for startup.
• Monitor and manage plant KPIs for supplier review meetings.
• Ensure material availability based on Plant Production Schedules and supplier lead times.
