Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain 3 within the Mission Systems Category Management team. The role leads the base, drives end-to-end supplier performance, and aligns procurement with engineering to resolve programmatic issues.

It offers opportunities to mentor staff and deliver continuous improvements across multiple sites. Primary responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration, risk management, and data‑driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant field with 8+ years in supply chain roles; or master's with 6+ years.
• 5+ years as a team leader or direct people/project management.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and supply-chain analytics.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain secret clearance.
• Defense or aerospace supply chain experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Category Management Supply Chain Base.
• Own end-to-end performance for assigned supplier categories.
• Develop and track recovery and improvement plans.
• Align procurement, supplier performance, and engineering teams.
• Drive data-driven supplier performance via analytics.
• Negotiate delivery schedules and mitigate capacity risks.
• Mentor and develop team members.
• Foster continuous improvement and agility.
• Collaborate across internal functions and suppliers.
