Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience, or Master’s with 3 years.
• 1 year of team leader and/or people management experience
• Subcontracts, procurement, or material management/planning experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Define strategy, planning, and execution of all material and subcontract content for a program or collection of programs.
• Manage material budget, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and issue resolution.
• Prepare basis of estimates for bills of material and subcontract administration.
• Contribute to the preparation of statements of work to ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are defined.
• Support the definition of subcontractor management plans and implement strategies to incentivize performance and mitigate risk.
• Ensure complete schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, procurement and subcontracts strategies before program execution.
• Review RFPs and requirements documentation to flow down to suppliers and align with win criteria.
• Oversee sales forecast for materials/subcontracts to drive accuracy and targets.
• Lead cost-reduction and efficiency initiatives; work with cross-functional teams.
