Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist at Devens, MA. This role represents supply chain to program management, operations, quality, and leadership, coordinating schedules, status reports, and resolutions with cross-functional teams.

You will work with the Global Supply Chain and other groups to implement integrated tools and processes across the business unit. Relocation is not provided and travel is up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, project management, or logistics.
• Or in lieu of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience in supply chain, project management, or logistics.
• Solid understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
• High level of proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems/tools.

Responsibilities

• Represent supply chain onsite as the focal point for coordinating and communicating supply chain management functions and status to internal groups.
• Meet company and customer requirements by linking supply chain, customer, program management, and internal support functions.
• Communicate program status to leadership, including execution issues that may impact delivery.
• Collaborate with buyers, supplier performance, and supplier quality to address issues with suppliers.
• Represent supply chain in internal daily and escalation meetings for the program.
• Understand program deliverables, due dates, and basic technical knowledge of the assigned programs.
• Participate in pre-award and contract kick-offs.
