Job summary

Halex/Scott Fetzer Company, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks an experienced supply chain professional in Ohio to manage demand planning, forecasting, and replenishment to achieve 98% fulfillment. You will research Halex products, optimize inventory, standardize item numbers in ERP, monitor MRP, and produce quarterly forecasts for top suppliers, while supporting inbound logistics and sourcing.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and work experience.
5+ years of supply chain experience in inventory management, forecasting and planning.
Ability to work with little oversight and demonstrate attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Research and understand Halex products and packaging options by item number.
Determine and implement changes to inventory, packing structure, and layout to increase throughput and efficiency.
Develop cross reference method for item numbers to support packaging options.
Standardize item part numbers and cross references in ERP.
Monitor and manage MRP for accurate signals for orders and stockouts.
Ensure ERP fields related to sourcing are accurate.
Create and distribute quarterly forecasts for top 80% of Halex suppliers.
Monitor supplier delivery issues and communicate via biweekly calls.
Provide alternatives to minimize stockouts.
