Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Supply Chain Planning Specialist (Level 5) to support on-site at Elkton, Maryland. The role leads material requirements, supplier management, and program planning with Lean/PES/Six Sigma focus.

As a strong leader, you will coordinate cross-functional activities across Purchasing/Sub-Contracts, Logistics and Production Control to ensure smooth delivery of materials and 100% availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 16+ years of experience in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree with minimum 12 years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree with at least 10 years of experience (or 8+ years with a PhD).
• 5 years of experience managing programs, subcontracts, materials, and/or services.
• Knowledge of CAM & Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, financial systems, FAR, and ITAR.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Ability to acquire a Security Clearance requiring US Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Liaison for assigned program and supply chain management functions.
• Represent Northrop Grumman in Program Management Reviews and leadership briefings.
• Oversee all Supply Chain Management activities needed to meet program requirements.
• Identify and mitigate program risks related to material requirements.
• Oversee material program planning and execution through program phases.
