Job summary

Avient Corporation is seeking a Supply Chain Planner for FG Planning and RM Procurement to manage end-to-end supply chain for one or more sites. You will review MRP output, create production orders and purchase orders, and oversee inventory across locations.

The role collaborates with Customer Service and Suppliers to optimize throughput and service levels. Core duties also include maintaining MRP demand forecasts, supervising finished goods inventories, and coordinating with site managers to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering required.
• 3+ years of experience in transactional supply chain (planning, procurement, etc)
• APICS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Balance supply with demand on short- and long-term basis.
• Monitor inventory levels and days on hand.
• Manage MRP settings in SAP to align with strategy.
• Provide backup to other team members as needed.
• Monitor Non-Working, Slow-Moving inventory and take actions.
• Organize schedule changes with site management due to backlogs or changes.
• Communicate process and service issues across teams.
