Job summary

Avient Corporation is seeking a Supply Chain Planner for FG Planning and RM Procurement to manage end-to-end supply chain for one or more manufacturing sites. You will review MRP output, create production and purchase orders, and maintain inventory, safety stock and forecasts using SAP.

Responsibilities include balancing demand with supply, optimizing schedules, communicating with Customer Service and Suppliers, and ensuring on-time performance across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in transactional supply chain (planning, procurement, etc.).
• APICS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Balance supply with demand on short- and long-term horizons.
• Monitor inventory levels and days on hand at assigned locations.
• Maintain MRP settings in SAP and align with supply chain strategy.
• Execute purchasing activities and manage vendor relationships at the transactional level.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and Suppliers to resolve issues.
