Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for a Versailles, KY manufacturing site. The role leads materials, inventory, production planning, logistics, and customer delivery, guiding OTIF and continuous improvement across the supply chain.

The position demands strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a hands-on plant-floor presence. With ownership of S&OP, cycle counts, and SAP-driven planning, you will partner with Production, Purchasing, and Engineering to meet business

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business or related field.
• 5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in Supply Chain and Materials Management.
• Experience with inventory control including cycle counts and obsolete inventory.
• Proven experience with S&OP, capacity and production planning.
• Experience managing logistics, including freight, packaging, storage, and shipping.
• Strong Excel data analysis and reporting skills.
• Experience using ERP systems for supply chain, materials, and production planning.
• Demonstrated leadership with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead S&OP, capacity planning, production planning, and materials management.
• Manage inventory accuracy including cycle counts and obsolete inventory.
• Ensure material availability to meet production schedules and OTIF.
• Oversee freight, packaging, storage, and logistics costs.
• Manage inbound and outbound shipping operations with logistics partners.
• Oversee storeroom operations for timely handling of materials.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Engineering and Leadership.
• Support ISO/TS16949 and C-TPAT compliance within processes.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction in the supply chain.
• Use SAP and ERP data for accurate planning and reporting.
• Monitor KPIs for safety, quality, OTIF, inventory, and logistics.
• Provide hands-on leadership on the plant floor and engage with teams.
• Communicate inventory, production planning, and logistics updates to leadership.
• Lead and develop supply chain and materials teams.
