Job summary

kdc/one is seeking a hands-on Supply Chain Manager in Groveport/New Albany to lead Buying and Scheduling teams and drive business planning. You will translate demand, forecasts, and S&OP into actionable supply plans, oversee scheduling, purchasing, and material availability, and manage supplier performance to meet production goals.

Leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement are essential. A 5+ year background in manufacturing SCM is preferred, with SAP and Power BI proficiency.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of supply chain management or procurement experience within a manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, and Power BI.
• Experience with inventory optimization, production planning, scheduling, supplier performance, and continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or a related field is strongly preferred.
• APICS/ISM certification is a plus.
• Experience in cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceuticals, or contract manufacturing is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Buying and Scheduling teams while managing the business planning function.
• Translate customer demand, forecasts, S&OP plans, inventory needs, and production capacity into actionable supply and material plans.
• Oversee production scheduling, purchasing, and material availability to keep operations running smoothly.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, addressing delivery issues and supply risks before they impact production.
• Optimize inventory levels, reduce excess and obsolete materials, and balance customer service with working capital goals.
• Monitor KPIs, including supplier OTIF, inventory turns, schedule attainment, and material availability.
