Job summary

kdc/one in Groveport and New Albany, OH is seeking a hands-on Supply Chain Manager to lead Buying and Scheduling teams, oversee business planning, and drive continuous improvement. The role focuses on translating demand and forecasts into actionable plans and ensuring material availability.

You will strengthen supplier relationships, optimize inventory, monitor KPIs like OTIF and turns, and partner with Operations, Finance, and Customer Service to meet customer commitments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in supply chain management in manufacturing.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP, MS Office, and Power BI.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; APICS/ISM a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Buying and Scheduling teams while managing the business planning function.
• Translate customer demand, forecasts, S&OP plans, inventory needs, and production capacity into actionable supply and material plans.
• Oversee production scheduling, purchasing, and material availability to keep operations running smoothly.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, addressing delivery issues and supply risks before they impact production.
• Optimize inventory levels, reduce excess and obsolete materials, and balance customer service with working capital goals.
• Monitor KPIs, including supplier OTIF, inventory turns, schedule attainment, and material availability.
• Partner with Operations, Warehouse, Customer Service, Global Sourcing, Finance, and other teams to solve problems and improve performance.
• Coach and develop your team while building efficient, consistent supply chain processes.
