Job summary

KLINGER GPI is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to ensure materials align with production and customer commitments across our Texas locations. You will lead procurement, forecasting, and supplier performance while maintaining service levels and cost targets.

The role includes day-to-day inventory management, vendor negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, sales, and finance to optimize supply plans and reduce working capital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years progressive experience in supply chain, purchasing/procurement, or inventory management in manufacturing/distribution
• Management experience with strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and shape sourcing strategies, contract negotiations, and vendor performance programs (domestic and international)
• Direct demand planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization to reduce risk and working capital
• Partner with Operations and cross-functional leaders to align supply plans to production and customer commitments
• Establish clear metrics, reporting, and continuous-improvement actions across the supply network
• Review inventory levels, open purchase orders, supplier commitments to ensure manufacturing needs are met across locations
