Job summary

Synthomer plc in Ohio seeks a Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including IBP, MPS, raw material planning, logistics, and inventory management. The role partners with operations, commercial, procurement, and finance to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective site performance.

You will lead a team of schedulers, optimize material flows, and drive continuous improvement using SAP S/4HANA, Arkieva, Power BI, and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, Customer Service, or Operations.
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, with Master Production Scheduling across multiple plants.
• Strong knowledge of ERP tools, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, Arkieva, Power BI, & Salesforce.
• Ability to analyze production constraints and develop optimized scheduling solutions to meet service level, inventory, and capacity goals.
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills for complex scenario planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate the monthly IBP/S&OP process for a 2-year horizon.
• Create and maintain detailed master production schedules aligned with forecast, capacity, and raw material availability.
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely raw material procurement and mitigate material risks.
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation scheduling and export compliance.
• Develop and execute inventory strategies to maintain optimal working capital and reliable supply.
• Define and report KPIs (OTTR, OTTP, inventory targets, schedule attainment, etc.) and drive improvements.
• Serve as primary liaison between supply chain, commercial, operations, and finance.
• Provide planning support to manufacturing sites and participate in root cause analyses and continuous improvement.
