Job summary

Synthomer, a leading polymers and ingredients supplier, seeks a Supply Chain Manager in Ohio to oversee end‑to‑end planning, scheduling, logistics and inventory. You will lead IBP, optimize material flows and partner with operations, procurement and finance to boost site performance.

The role emphasizes master production scheduling, raw material planning and cross‑functional collaboration to drive cost efficiency and on‑time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Customer Service, or Operations.
• Expertise in Master Production Scheduling across multiple plants.
• Strong knowledge of ERP tools including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, Arkieva, Power BI, Salesforce.
• Ability to analyze production constraints and develop optimized scheduling solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process monthly across demand, supply and financial targets.
• Create and maintain master production schedules aligned with forecast, capacity and RM availability.
• Oversee raw material planning and supplier coordination to ensure cost‑effective procurement.
• Manage inbound/outbound logistics, freight costs, warehousing and distribution processes.
• Develop inventory strategies and monitor safety stock and cycle counts.
• Define and report KPIs (OTTR, OTTP, inventory vs target, schedule attainment).
• Partner with operations, commercial, procurement and finance to support launches and capacity planning.
