Job summary

Hydraquip, Inc. in Houston, TX, seeks a Supply Chain Manager to lead a team of purchasing associates, optimize inventory, and drive cost-effective procurement to meet customer demand and profitability.

You will develop procurement strategy, enforce policies, report KPIs, and recruit/train the purchasing team while ensuring ISO 9001:2015 compliance. A strong emphasis is placed on leadership and analytics to improve supplier performance and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, industrial distribution, technical field, business administration, management, or a related field preferred.
• Certificate in Effective Inventory Management or similar course preferred.
• Experience as described may be accepted in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategy to optimize purchasing processes.
• Own and enforce company policies for inventory and non-inventory purchases.
• Establish standards for current and historical supplier pricing records and discounts.
• Develop and report KPIs related to inventory management and supplier performance.
• Manage purchase requisitions from sales staff to align with policies, goals and budgets.
• Ensure purchasing documents and terms are correct and appropriate.
• Procure a defined range of product lines.
• Oversee daily purchasing team activities and set clear expectations.
• Participate in recruitment and training of the purchasing team.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and track KPIs.
• Support ISO 9001:2015 compliance and quality policy.
