Job summary

Oilgear designs and manufactures high-performance hydraulic systems for demanding industrial applications. The Director of Supply Chain oversees procurement, logistics, inventory planning and distribution, aligning strategies with company objectives to minimize costs and boost customer satisfaction.

The role leads a high-performing team and partners across Operations, Engineering, Sales and Finance. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience directing cross-functional supply chain teams.
• Strong procurement, planning and logistics expertise.
• Ability to drive cost reduction and improve supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing supply chain team of 3–5 direct reports across purchasing, planning and logistics.
• Foster accountability, continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.
• Set the highest ethical standards for self and others and provide coaching and performance reviews.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Sales, Finance and Quality leadership.
• Develop and execute supply chain risk management strategies to mitigate disruptions.
• Oversee procurement, supplier management and make-vs-buy analyses.
