Job summary

Synthomer plc is seeking a Production & Supply Planner in Ohio to ensure on-time delivery by creating and managing a weekly SAP production schedule. You will optimize inventory, improve equipment utilization, and collaborate with customer service, production, procurement, logistics, and regional teams.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with experience in production planning/scheduling and SAP.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years in supply chain or materials management.
Experience in production planning or scheduling with SAP and Excel.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to influence stakeholders and drive improvements across teams.
Experience communicating with cross-functional partners at various levels.
Knowledge of chemical manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Create and manage weekly/daily SAP production schedules aligned with Master Production Schedule.
Communicate plans to stakeholders and drive SAP system utilization.
Collaborate across sites to fulfill interplant requirements and optimize inventory.
Monitor metrics like on-time delivery, schedule attainment, and inventory levels.
Develop what-if scenarios and propose optimized supply plans.
Maintain SAP master data and support cycle counting and physical inventories.
Lead cross-functional reviews to improve supply chain performance.
