Job summary

Confidential Employer in Flowery Branch, GA, seeks a Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to oversee procurement, logistics, and inventory management. You will lead a five-person team, manage 3PL relationships, and drive improvements across vendor contracts and BOM provisioning.

Responsibilities include KPI development, cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Production, Scheduling, and Customer Service, and ensuring safe, compliant operations while delivering timely supply chain updates.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years in purchasing or supply chain, with strong manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead a team effectively.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of 5 direct reports.
• Oversee logistics operations for inbound and outbound freight and trucking (excluding transportation between plants).
• Vendor management: manage relationships with 3PLs and diverse vendors; negotiate contracts and procurement for BOM categories including corrugated packaging.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, Scheduling, and Customer Service to coordinate materials receipt, inventory allocation, and BOM management.
• Create and analyze KPIs to monitor supply chain performance and work with Sales/Marketing/Operations on countermeasures.
• Build strong internal and external partnerships; support Sales, Marketing, and Service with timely supply chain updates.
• Oversee day-to-day inventory operations, review stock status reports, and address discrepancies while improving inventory techniques.
• Ensure safety and compliance in the workplace and communicate company policies to direct reports.
• Prepare reports and analyses on inventory and supply chain topics; assist in special projects as assigned.
