Manpower is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in Bloomingdale, GA to identify an experienced Supply Chain Manager. This leadership role oversees purchasing, materials planning, inventory control, warehousing, logistics, and supplier management to ensure smooth production operations and on-time customer delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in supply chain plus 2+ years in leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, or engineering.
• 5+ years in supply chain, purchasing, materials planning, logistics, or manufacturing.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and production planning.
• Proven success managing suppliers, inventory, purchasing, and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day supply chain operations supporting manufacturing and production.
• Manage material planning, purchasing, inventory levels, and supplier relationships.
• Ensure raw materials and production supplies are available to meet production schedules.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities.
• Analyze supply chain performance and drive improvements in cost, efficiency, lead times, and inventory turns.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to maintain accurate planning and purchasing data.
• Develop and track KPIs related to inventory, supplier performance, and delivery.
• Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Finance teams.
• Lead and develop supply chain, purchasing, warehouse, and logistics personnel.
• Support continuous improvement and contingency planning for disruptions.
