Job summary

Alamo Group’s Airport Products Division in Fond du Lac seeks a Supply Chain Manager to lead purchasing, planning, inventory, and logistics for our manufacturing operations. You will supervise Purchasing and Logistics staff and partner with Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Service to support production, new product launches, and growth.

The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing supply chain, strong leadership, ERP/MRP experience (JD Edwards a plus), and APICS certification is

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7+ years of manufacturing supply chain experience.
Experience leading Purchasing and Logistics teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
ERP/MRP experience; APICS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the team: coach and manage Purchasing and Logistics staff; set KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
Plan & manage inventory: coordinate production planning, monitor inventory, and optimize replenishment.
Own purchasing & procurement: manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and terms.
Oversee logistics & material handling: manage inbound/outbound, storage, shipping, and freight.
Drive continuous improvement: track KPIs and support Lean initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally: align with Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Service.
Maintain compliance: ensure data/system integrity in ERP/MRP systems.
