Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Seattle is seeking an AVS Strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead strategic planning, execution, and optimization of Amazon's supply chain. You will drive high-impact projects, partner with Retail, Supply Chain and Vendors, and influence cross-functional teams in ambiguous environments.

The role requires strong data analysis, hands-on inventory management, and a customer-centric mindset with a track record of improving metrics and reducing costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or 3+ years professional/military experience.
• 3+ years with Excel experience.
• 4+ years in supply chain, inventory management or project management.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and delivering improvement opportunities around demand and production planning
• Monitoring, analyzing and owning Vendor Key Performance Indicators such as: Out of Stock rate, Total Inbound lead time, confirmation rates, including presenting insights, themes and trends to Senior Leadership team.
• Strategically analyzing production and delivery lead-times, while optimizing operational excellence inputs such as EDI adoption, PO confirmations, efficient receive processes, and inventory placement.
• Spearheading initiatives to enhance cost structure and profitability, collaborating closely with partner teams to ensure successful execution.
