Job summary

Alta Resource Technologies, a Boulder-based mining technology company, seeks a Supply Chain Manager to own end-to-end procurement across government and commercial programs. You will manage BOMs, supplier relationships, and subcontracts, and drive technology transfer from lab to production while collaborating with engineering, programs, and finance.

You will establish scalable supply chain policies, procedures, and tools, oversee logistics, and support commercial planning as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Experience issuing and managing purchase orders and subcontracts with FAR/DFARS/OTAs.
• Experience managing BOMs and coordinating with technical teams.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Experience in government and commercial supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end procurement execution across government and commercial programs, including purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Create, maintain, and control BOMs in partnership with technical teams.
• Manage supplier base, performance, pricing negotiations, and ongoing relationships.
• Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers to expand capacity and reduce risk.
• Support technology transfer from lab to pilot to production scale.
• Interface daily with cross-functional teams to align supply chain with program milestones.
• Organize and manage logistics, inbound/outbound freight, customs, and receiving processes.
• Establish and document supply chain policies, procedures, and tools.
• Contribute to commercial planning, demand/material planning, and long-range strategy.
• Execute at the tactical level, expediting materials and removing roadblocks.
