Job summary

Great Dane is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to protect manufacturing capacity and ensure on-time delivery. You will lead planning, inbound logistics, and inventory optimization in a multi-plant environment, applying Lean Manufacturing principles and ERP-driven improvements to meet customer expectations.

The role requires 8–10 years of SCM/Manufacturing experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
8–10 years of progressive supply chain/manufacturing experience.
Certified practitioner in ISM (CPSM) or APICS (CPIM/CSCP) is preferred.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing concepts in a multi-plant setting.
Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Manage planning, inbound logistics, warehousing, and material movement to meet schedules.
Develop processes to expose defects and drive lean improvements based on data.
Design and manage plant processes to flow material from receipt to use with PFEP.
Maintain inventory accuracy with a cycle count program exceeding 95%.
Coordinate procurement of MRO items with corporate buying and QA teams.
Work with Category Managers to secure supplier sources and monitor performance.
Train staff on safety policies and equipment operation; ensure OSHA compliance.
Lead LEAN initiatives and use ERP systems to drive plant improvements.
