Job summary

ConMet is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in Monroe, NC to lead master scheduling, materials planning, warehouse operations, and inventory control across multiple sites. You will drive nonproduction purchasing, implement best practices, and manage SAP master data and MRP usage to ensure superior service and cost control.

The role requires 8–10 years in manufacturing materials management, strong ERP/MRP experience, and a track record of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; eight to ten years in materials management within manufacturing.
• APICS certifications preferred.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and operations.

Responsibilities

• Guide on-site Customer Service personnel as needed.
• Coordinate SAP master data, forecasting, and PO establishment for new product launches.
• Maintain 95% inventory accuracy and cycle count program.
• Improve inventory days and optimize plant-wide inventory with safe stock.
• Lead annual materials budgeting and continuous supply chain optimization.
