Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in Los Angeles to lead end-to-end external supply chain for our new product portfolio. You will drive supply planning, material readiness, and delivery across pre-clinical to PPQ stages with CMOs and internal partners.

The role requires collaboration across Global Supply Chain, Product Teams, and Quality, with a focus on inventory optimization, risk mitigation, and contract alignment. Hybrid work model and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master/Bachelor with relevant engineering, business, or life sciences background.
• Significant experience in regulated manufacturing or biopharma supply chains.
• Experience with SAP or RapidResponse strongly preferred.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end external supply chain for new product portfolio.
• Drive supply planning, material readiness, and delivery of pre-clinical to PPQ products.
• Collaborate with CMOs, Product Teams, and Global Distribution to design supply solutions.
• Develop and maintain executable supply plans, assess risks, and coordinate mitigations.
• Represent supply chain in contract negotiations and change controls.
• Maintain SAP/RapidResponse master data and ensure compliant transactions.
