Job summary

Amgen North Carolina (ANC) seeks a Supply Chain Manager 1 - Planning & Systems to lead integrated planning and systems capability. You will optimize SAP and Kinaxis RapidResponse to deliver a connected, signal-driven supply chain supporting manufacturing and patients.

You will partner with Site Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Digital teams, driving alignment with Amgen's monthly planning cycle and delivering standardized processes across planning and procurement.

Qualifications

Doctorate, or
Master's with 2+ years in Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Operations, Information Systems, or related experience
Bachelor's with 4+ years in Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Operations, Information Systems, or related experience
Associate's with 8 years of related experience, or HS diploma/GED with 10 years of related experience
At least 2 years in teams, projects, programs, or directing allocation of resources for this role

Responsibilities

Lead integrated planning and systems enablement for site planning and procurement.
Own SAP and Kinaxis RapidResponse planning capabilities.
Harmonize planning processes and governance with monthly planning cycle.
Improve data quality, master data governance, and signal integrity.
Reduce manual work and automate planning and procurement workflows.
Develop metrics and visual management for plan adherence and risk.
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders on system requirements and delivery.
Lead root-cause analysis for recurring planning, material, and system issues.
Communicate planning performance and risks to leadership and stakeholders.
