Job summary

Joseph Michaels International is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for an electronics manufacturing environment. The role focuses on managing inventory, purchasing procedures, and coordinating across multiple manufacturing sites to meet production needs.

You will supervise staff in purchasing, materials management, and configuration management, drive supplier relationships, and lead negotiations to improve quality, price, and delivery while maintaining on-time production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five years of directly related experience in manufacturing/contract manufacturing.
• Prior supervisory experience and strong people management skills.
• Significant experience with inventory control, logistics, materials requirement planning, supply chains, contract negotiations, and purchasing.
• Proficiency with forecasting and budgeting.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing, materials management, and inventory across multiple sites.
• Lead supplier negotiations and monitor price, quality, and delivery metrics.
• Develop team goals/metrics and track progress, emphasizing professional development.
• Interface with Program Managers on planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipments.
• Ensure company procedures are followed in materials and department functions.
