Job summary

Pilkington North America Inc. seeks a Supply Chain Planning Manager to oversee materials, inventory and production scheduling to meet customer deadlines and budgets. You will drive capacity planning, BOM integrity, and on-time delivery performance.

Required: bachelor’s in business or related field; 5+ years manufacturing management (supply chain preferred); strong Excel and SAP experience; excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• At least 5 years of management experience in manufacturing, preferably supply chain.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Experience with SAP or quality management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate manufacturing operations to optimize facilities, manpower and material to meet deliveries.
• Plan and supervise inventory control activities and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Manage inventory through non-value added and blocked stock stages and set production priorities.
• Control packaging, freight, storage and forklift costs within budget.
• Ensure ISO 14000/TS16949 and C-TPAT compliance and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop stocking plans for OEM and internal customers to achieve OTIF targets.
• Audit safety, quality and inventory systems and ensure proper documentation for shipments.
