Job summary

You will collaborate with production, engineering and procurement teams, establish supplier relationships, and support quality improvements per standards. This internship offers exposure to sourcing, vendor selection, and process improvements with up to 5% travel.

Qualifications

• Pursuing B.S./B.A. in supply chain, business, or related field.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving/decision making skills.
• Self-starter with exceptional verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the execution of supply chain strategy for assigned commodities.
• Work with site supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering to improve productivity and supplier capability.
• Obtain competitive bids, analyze costs, and negotiate contracts.
• Drive supplier performance, lead times and continuous improvement initiatives.
