Job summary

Pompeian is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end operations, including planning, procurement, logistics, inventory, and warehousing. The role emphasizes strategic leadership, cost optimization, and collaboration with senior leadership to support growth from the Baltimore HQ.

The successful candidate will manage supplier relationships, drive continuous improvement, and oversee 3PLs while maintaining customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field is required.
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• At least 2 years in a director role.
• 5+ years leading managers and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of logistics, planning, procurement, inventory, transportation and warehousing.
• Proven ability to develop and implement cost-reduction supply chain strategies.
• Strong financial acumen: budgets, forecasting, working capital.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities; continuous improvement experience.
• ERP systems proficiency; Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual and long-term supply chain strategy aligned with business growth.
• Lead planning, procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution across all locations and partners.
• Drive service, efficiency, resilience, and profitability through supply chain improvements.
• Provide advisory insights to senior leadership on risks, trends, and strategic initiatives.
• Oversee inventory policies, optimization, and cost control across facilities and 3PLs.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and lead cost-reduction and automation initiatives.
• Lead negotiations for strategic supplier and logistics contracts; manage budgets with Finance.
