Pompeian Inc. is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead production planning, procurement, logistics, inventory and distribution across multiple locations from its Baltimore HQ.

The role reports to the VP of Operations and supports growth with a focus on cost reduction, service levels, and working capital optimization. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in supply chain within manufacturing, a director-level track record, strong leadership and financial acumen, and experience with ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience in manufacturing
• 2+ years in a director role
• 5+ years of leadership managing managers and cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of supply chain planning, procurement, inventory, transportation, warehousing and logistics
• Experience developing and implementing supply chain strategies and cost-reduction initiatives
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, forecasting, working capital, and cost optimization
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience leading continuous improvement and process optimization projects
• ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and advanced Excel; Power BI preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual and long-term supply chain strategy
• Lead planning, procurement, logistics, inventory and distribution across locations
• Provide strategic oversight to senior leadership on risks, opportunities and market trends
• Manage budgets, forecasts, inventory investments and working capital
• Lead cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead negotiations for strategic supplier, transportation, warehousing and service contracts
• Oversee import logistics, freight forwarding, customs, warehousing and distribution
• Monitor KPIs and dashboards; use analytics for decisions
• Develop and coach supply chain teams and succession planning
• Support sustainability and safety initiatives
