48forty Solutions, LLC in Houston is hiring a Manager, Supply Chain Design & Optimization to unify pallet supply, pricing, and freight into a single actionable view. You will build models, run analyses, and defend your recommendations with operations and leadership teams.

You'll collaborate with Plant Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and Commercial groups to develop strategic network plans and lead major optimization initiatives. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; Master's preferred.
• 4+ years in supply chain network design or related analytics.
• Owned an analytical model that changed a business decision.
• Proficient with network design tools such as those listed above.
• Experience in pallets, packaging, industrial distribution, or recycling preferred.
• Willing to travel up to 25% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a regional network optimization model across US/Canada.
• Partner with Ops, Supply Chain and Commercial to shape mid/long-term strategies.
• Lead initiatives to improve cost, service, and asset productivity.
• Operate scoring and network models; perform scenario and capacity analyses.
• Translate analyses into actionable exec-level recommendations.
