Job summary

Promat by Etex in Maryville, TN is seeking a Supply Chain & Customer Service Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain and customer service with a focus on planning, logistics, and order fulfilment. You will drive performance, implement best practices, and build a high-performing team aligned with safety and customer-centric goals.

You’ll lead the S&OP process, collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance, and optimize service levels while maintaining cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, customer service, or operations management.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role with team management responsibilities.
• Experience with ERP (SAP preferred) and CRM systems; strong data and analytical capability.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally (<10%).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Customer Service and Supply Chain teams to achieve operational excellence and service excellence.
• Establish clear KPIs for service performance, accuracy, responsiveness, cost efficiency, and process adherence.
• Create a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement aligned with leadership values.
• Manage workforce planning, succession development, and training to grow team capability.
• Oversee daily order management, quotations, and customer communications for top-tier responsiveness.
• Drive S&OP process balancing demand, capacity, and inventory.
• Maintain compliance with EHS, quality, and ISO standards across logistics and warehousing.
• Develop dashboards and performance reporting to track efficiency.
