Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 2 years of procurement or supply chain experience.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials from suppliers at the lowest cost while ensuring quality and reliability.
• Study market trends, interview vendors and recommend sources.
• Solicit and analyze quotations to satisfy requirements.
• Monitor outstanding orders to ensure timely deliveries and expediting as needed.
• Negotiate adjustments for price changes, discrepancies, or PO cancellations.
• Obtain delivery certifications and validate item deliveries; verify invoices.
• Develop and maintain records for compliance; support cost data for proposals.
• Preferred candidate knowledge in weld process, mechanical and custom fab.
