Textron Systems, a key part of Textron, is seeking a Sr Buyer - Supply Chain to lead purchasing of complex mechanical assemblies for production. You will conduct market research, analyze quotations, and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires 6+ years in procurement, a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field, and strong Excel/communication skills. On-site Louisiana, with a collaborative cross-functional team and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field.
• 6+ years of purchasing or related procurement experience of mechanical assemblies or machined parts.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• MS Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing complex mechanical assemblies from suppliers at the lowest cost consistent with quality and reliability.
• Conduct market research and price analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Solicit and analyze quotations required to satisfy all requirements of source documentation.
• Monitor outstanding orders to ensure timely deliveries and expedite shipments as needed.
• Negotiate adjustments resulting from price analysis or supplier issues.
• Obtain delivery certifications and conduct item delivery validation; check and approve invoices.
