Rogers Machinery Company, Inc. in Centralia, WA is seeking a Supply Chain Buyer with a business or supply chain background to manage the full planning and purchase-to-pay process for assigned suppliers. Some parts sales support may be required as the company grows.

You will work with production and engineering on schedule changes, perform cost-reduction analyses, and maintain data integrity across PO, invoices, and packing slips in our ERP system.

• Agile collaborator who will work to build and support the strongest possible team.
• Negotiation skills to work with suppliers for best pricing.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as BOM, SDS, SOP, Parts Manuals and invoices.

Mansioni

• Manage all Buyer assigned purchase order demand based on ERP signals, production priorities, safety stock, and management direction.
• Manage PO acknowledgements and ensure ERP reflects them properly and timely.
• Daily management of ERP shortage lists and source efficient solutions.
• Conduct second sourcing, bidding, approval, and implementation.
• Coordinate data across PO, supplier invoice data, and packing slip data with Receiving and Accounting.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities in purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with production and engineering on schedule revisions, substitutions, and customer change requests.
• Review inventory levels and determine opportunities to reduce or reallocate stock.
• Support Parts Sales activities with timely, professional service.
• Develop and follow SOPs to ensure policy compliance.
