Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field required.
• Three to five years of purchasing/supply chain experience.
• APICS/Supply Chain Management certification is recommended.
• Computer knowledge of spreadsheets, charts, graphs and word documents.
• Prior experience in Automotive industry is desired.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement of raw materials, supplies and equipment.
• Research, select, and purchase quality products and materials.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships; process requisitions and communicate order status.
• Ensure ordering analysis supports appropriate inventory levels; track orders and delivery.
• Coordinate with warehouse team; assess quality issues and elevate discrepancies to suppliers.
• Maintain records of cost, delivery, performance and inventory levels via supplier analysis forms.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management or related business field

Strong oral and written communication/negotiations skills
