B. Braun US Device Manufacturing LLC is seeking a Buyer I to manage a portfolio of purchased raw materials and maintain inventory levels.

You will review demand, issue purchase orders, and monitor supplier delivery performance to support production and business objectives. Collaborate with Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Sales while identifying cost-saving opportunities and contributing to continuous improvement in purchasing and supply chain operations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 0 - 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of purchased raw materials and monitor inventory levels.
• Review demand requirements and issue purchase orders to suppliers.
• Track supplier delivery schedules and performance.
• Analyze supplier quotations and recommend sourcing decisions.
• Support supplier negotiations and contract activities.
• Research market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, and documentation.
• Partner with Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality, Sales, and suppliers to support business needs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within purchasing and supply chain operations.
