Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Los Angeles is seeking an AVS Senior Strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead strategic planning, execution, and optimization of its supply chain operations, delivering growth and exceptional customer experience.

You will drive cross-functional initiatives with Retail, Supply Chain, and Vendors, manage projects in parallel, and travel quarterly to vendor sites to support partnerships, while focusing on data-driven improvements and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques.
• 6+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in supply chain management, engineering, business management or other relevant field.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with business partners.
• 6+ years of proven track record of leading and managing complex supply chain projects, preferably in a large-scale retail or e-commerce environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable supply chain strategies; Excel and SQL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and delivering improvement opportunities around demand and production planning.
• Monitoring, analyzing and owning Vendor KPIs and presenting insights to Senior Leadership.
• Analyzing production and delivery lead-times and optimizing EDI adoption, PO confirmations, and inventory placement.
• Spearheading initiatives to enhance cost structure and profitability with partner teams.
• Quarterly travel to vendor sites to support ongoing partnership.
